A New Reality

IFAC Arts in collaboration with the Yard Lower East Side is pleased to present A New Reality with three unique artistic perspectives, spanning more than 50 years, brought together to analyze life on earth, industrial and architectural development, and the place of humanity within it today moving forward.

The exhibition juxtaposes views ranging from the nostalgic intimate modernist portraits of the "good-life" in the work of Slim Aarons, to issues concerning mass tourism and conformity in the photographs of Massimo Vitali's Landscapes with Figures series, to views of post industrial dystopia and the return to nature in the images by Den Marino.

A New Reality attempts to pose new comparative questions in relation to each of the artists works and the unique architectural and social space at the Yard (designed by the architect David Bers), where original detail complements a modern structure to create a space that fosters creativity, focus, and connection.
